Summary
At SenikMind you have the right to request deletion of personal data we maintain about you. This page explains how to submit a verified data deletion request, how we verify identity, what we will remove, and which data we may retain to comply with legal obligations.
What we will delete
When you submit a verified deletion request we will delete personal information we maintain that identifies you, unless an exception applies. Examples of data we may delete include:
- Account profile information (name, email, phone)
- Contact form submissions and support tickets
- Marketing preferences and mailing list entries
- Non-essential cookies and local settings (if stored in our systems)
Note: We do not typically delete anonymized or aggregated data where individuals are no longer identifiable.
When we cannot delete data (exceptions)
We may need to retain certain information if required by law or for legitimate business reasons, such as:
- Records required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance
- Information necessary to detect, prevent, or prosecute fraud or security incidents
- Data required to complete a transaction or provide a service you requested
- Data that cannot be deleted for technical reasons but will be properly secured

Identity verification
To protect your privacy we will verify identity before processing deletion requests. Verification methods may include:
- Confirming access to the email address on file
- Asking for a government ID (if strictly necessary) — we will provide a secure channel and a clear retention policy for any verification documents
- Answering account-specific questions
We will never ask for unnecessary sensitive information. If we request documents, we will explain why and how they will be handled securely.
Response time & process
After we receive a valid, verified request we will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 10 business days.
- Verify identity (if not already verified).
- Process deletion within 45 days from verification (this period may be extended once for a further 45 days with notice where necessary).
If we cannot honor your request fully, we will explain the reasons and the legal basis for retention.
California resident rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, in addition to deletion you may have rights to:
- Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you in the last 12 months
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information (see: Do Not Sell or Share)
- Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

What to expect after deletion
Once deletion is processed:
- Your account and personal records will be removed or anonymized where possible.
- Backups or logs may retain copies for a limited period; these will be secured and purged according to our retention schedule where legally permitted.
- We will confirm by email when the deletion is completed or explain any exception.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. After deletion requests, we minimize any further processing and secure retained records consistent with legal obligations.
